This is a 'shy' nose ... timid, like a child's first contact with a stranger, acquaintance awaits to begin timidly to express elements of nature. Seconds ventilation and a good shake of the glass will change the flavor initially subdued impression, revealing a 'bouquet' of small red fruits and fresh herbs mentioning eucalyptus leaves. Maybe hints of green pepper and some vanilla elements in the second row, with aromas of caramel and honey. She continued moderation and mouth. Round all components with soft tannins, acidity and medium body. Aftertaste with sweet 'aftermath', not great in length but with clear toffee and chocolate milk. A wine that fascinates not by force, but with the 'peace' that distinguishes it.
Soft and spicy

Extraordinary wine from a tiny vineyard on Mount Athos. Monk Epifanios, a worldwide reference on mediteranean cuisine and recipes, is growing this under-rated miracle out of 2 grape varieties, Limnio and Merlot. The result is a powerful, soft and delicate red wine with spicy and wild scents and perfumes of mediterranean hills. Production is obviously limited as Epifanios is a one-man operation. It is obvious that he is a master in wine-making. I am sharing bottles with friends who enjoy great wines from France, Italy, Spain. Everyone agreed that this wine is absolutely terrific, at a very attractive price. Let's enjoy till it lasts and pray for Epifanios to live for many more years.

This is a Merlot but it is really special. Grown by a lone monk on Mount Athos the result is a stunning combination of soft and spicy tastes. This is both a jewel and a well-kept secret.

The Eminent ... Agioritikos Local Wine produced by fifteen year or more, vines Mylopotamos, namely Limnio varieties, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. It has a deep red color. The nose (bouquet) distinguish prunes, red fruit and spices. Its taste has a robust body, generous structure with rich tannins, harmonious polymerized, balanced acidity and a long sweet epigefsi.
A wine with great surface with many promises to the fans of the genre who want to cellar their wines older than ten years. If prior to consumption in the aerosol carafe will "open" and will give you all the aromas. Enjoy the 16th-18th vathmous.
Vinificators vinified in temperature-controlled, three weeks. After malolactic fermentation, apolaspothike and brought in new French oak barrels for 24 months.
