Apiliotis Mezzo 2016
Sweet, Still, Red, Mantilaria, Ages well, 9% alc.
€34.70 As low as €31.92The red Mandilaria of the Aegean, in the hands of Paris Sigala, transforms into an exuberant, unusual red sweet wine. Flavourwise sophisticated, with a rich body and a long dried red fruit aftertaste capture the taster from the very first sip. -
Emilia 2013
Sweet, Still, Red, Liatiko, Ages well
€39.60Single-variety red PDO sweet wine from the Cretan variety Liatiko and an excellent winery of the island that will ideally close a refined meal. The grapes are sun-dried, kneaded with the native doughs and matured for 6 years in oak barrels, acquiring an incredibly complex dimension with aromas and flavors of dried fruits and caramel and endless aftertaste. -
Aposperitis 2014
Sweet, Still, Red, Fokiano, Ages well
€22.30Two friends, Manolis Vavoulas and Nikos Gryllis, create the Lipson winery in order to revive the local red variety Fokiano, which is famous for its ability to produce extremely sweet wines. This sweet wine is produced ‘as before’ by sun-drying the overripe grapes with the wine then maturing in oak barrels for at least two years acquiring a complex character. Great dessert wine with very good value for money.
