Category: Dry Rosé Classification: Local Peloponnesian Wine Varieties: Agiorgitiko 70%, Moschofilero 30% Vineyards: * Agiorgitiko: Mountainous Corinthia (altitude 850 m.) * Moschofilero: Mantineia (altitude 750 m.) Winemaking\/Aging: Pre-fermentation extraction for 24-48 hours at 18˚C for Agiorgitiko. Pre-fermentation extraction for 6 hours at 16˚C for Moschofilero. Blending and alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 17˚C. Inhibition of malolactic fermentation. Brief aging on fine lees. Organoleptic characteristics: The color is bright, light cherry with rosy highlights. The nose is vibrant, full of clarity with aromas of ripe cherries and raspberries with hints of sweet spices, flowers, and notes of rose petal. The palate is medium-bodied with medium to high acidity and a slight sensation of very ripe tannins. The mouth aromas follow those of the nose along with hints of sweet grass and bubble gum. The aftertaste has medium length and continuous evolution, leading to complexity.
