A distinct Assyrtiko from Dafnes, Heraklion, Crete, at an altitude of 350 meters, that uniquely expresses the Cretan character and the dynamism of the variety in a warmer terroir. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks enhances its freshness, mineral character, and aromas, while the 12-month bottle aging adds depth, volume, and complexity. The name 'Alargo' means 'far away' and evokes the nostalgia of the Cretan for his homeland, which is also reflected on the label.
