The Antonio Facchin Prosecco Frizzante DOC Treviso is produced exclusively from the Glera variety, in vineyards of the hilly region of Treviso. The grapes are hand-harvested in early September and cooled before pressing, in order to preserve their freshness and delicate aromas. The second fermentation is carried out using the Charmat method for at least 40 days.
In the glass, it has a bright straw-yellow color and fine, lively sparkle. The nose is fresh and pleasant, with aromas of white fruits, blossoms, and subtle notes of citrus. On the palate, it is soft, harmonious, and slightly fruity, with refreshing acidity and a pleasant balance between freshness and delicate sweetness.
The traditional cork tied with string gives it a special, authentic character. It is ideally enjoyed at 6°C as an aperitif and pairs excellently with seafood pasta, risotto, light fish dishes, and appetizers.
