The cultivation of Gewurztraminer in Evia was a bold experiment for Apostolos Moudricha, which, however, exceeded expectations! The Lenga label from Ktima Avantis is one of the most enjoyable aromatic white wines on the market, and it becomes hot cake due to its very limited production. The winemaker's love for this wine is evident from the fact that he named it after his beloved wife. Friends of elegant aromatic wines, hurry up!...

A very pleasant wine with dominant floral aromas. The fragrant Gewurztraminer variety "migrates" from Alsace to Evia, giving us a fine, aromatic wine that beautifully plays with our sense of smell and taste in every delightful sip, generously offering us its fruity and floral characteristics. Its subtly sweet aftertaste will stay unforgettable.

- Producer's Description
- When someone decides to vinify a variety that has its alter ego in the renowned Alsace, the endeavor is risky. Nevertheless, Lenga's proposal demonstrates that perseverance and patience are rewarded in the best possible way. The Gewurztraminer variety has acclimatized ideally in Evia, resulting in an exotic outcome. Its volume, richness, and elegance are indeed enviable for a wine that has not experienced the presence of oak. It is the Greek version of the variety, and the result is certainly impressive. This is the wine dedicated by Apostolos Moundrichas to Lenga, his wife. Varieties: Gewurztraminer 100% Region: Evia Vinification: Pre-fermentation cold extraction. Tasting Notes: Soft golden color with green highlights, intense aromas of sweet rose, leeches, exotic fruits, pepper, mint, ginger, caramel, and spices. The palate is rich, oily, with an intensity of floral aromas and spices. The balanced acidity pleasantly contrasts with the oily mouthfeel, creating a long aftertaste. Aging: 3 years.

Exceptional
In my opinion this is consistently Aventis' best white medium priced wine. Fuller body than is often found with the Gewurztraminer sports and with a notably good aroma. Do not confuse with the Alsace whites. This sport, or perhaps the climate/ soil or winemaker's skill has produced a very distinctive wine

Πολύ καλό
Πολύ αξιόλογη Ελληνική προσπάθεια, αρκετά αρωματικό, ένα από τα καλύτερα Ελληνικά Gewurztraminer.
