- Origin - Type: Dry red wine. Local Wine of Tegea. Varietal Composition: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon Vineyard: Located in the Avlotopi region. Grown at an altitude of 750 m with a NW orientation and clayey soils. Very low fertility and very low yield per hectare, with late harvesting at the end of October. Winemaking: Classic red winemaking method with very long extractions of 30-40 days. Aging for 15 months in new oak barrels. Tasting characteristics and aging: Deep red color. Evolved aromas of vanilla and coffee, spices, and toasted forest fruit aromas. On the palate, a rich flavor combined with a rich tannic structure provides a sense of fullness. A wine that has the potential for 8-10 years of aging.
