The "First of the First", the flagship of the great chateaux of Bordeaux in another closed vintage. Strict and restrained, Château Margaux is a wine with great aromatic and taste richness, but it is still shy to share with us. In other words, take it today and keep it (like your eyes) for a few more years...

Château Margaux, a famous wine "brand" by itself, has a brilliant history spanning centuries, embodying the greatness of the top wines of Bordeaux. Having passed through several "hands" over the years, from French nobility to colossal names in the European business community such as the Italian Agnelli family, for the last 30 years it has belonged to the Greek Corinne Mentzelopoulos, daughter of the Patras businessman Andreas Mentzelopoulos, who purchased it in 1977, causing a major scandal among the then elite of the French wine industry. It is characteristic that today at Château Margaux there is a piece of Greece, from the Mentzelopoulos family to their dog, Zorba, and Greeks are always welcome at the magnificent estate that dominates the Margaux region. Every sip from this beautiful label can fill you with national, beyond wine-related, pride!
