In 1906, John Haig & Co. was appointed as Supplier to the House of Lords and in 1908 received royal certification from Edward VII, marking the beginning of the royal family ordering whisky from the Haig Distillery. Since then, it has received multiple recognitions from royal families: the Spanish, the Danish, and also the British (George VI, Elizabeth II).
