Truly Unique!!!
Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Whiskey is handcrafted from a unique barrel specially chosen by our Master Distiller, which explains quite well where it got its name. The Single Barrel matures in selected areas of the warehouse, resulting in a deeper color and richer flavor. Bold and with an intense taste, this whiskey has notes of toasted oak, vanilla, and caramel. One barrel, one unique flavor.

Whiskey that comes from a single barrel at the top of the cellar, whiskey that matures in extreme temperature fluctuations, which is why each bottle has its own personal flavor that tells a story. And it is never repeated. But why? After being filtered through maple charcoal, where the distillate is stripped of unwanted substances while simultaneously being enriched with unique aromas, the whiskey is placed back in its barrel to patiently mature at the top of the cellar. Up there, thanks to extreme temperature changes (high in summer, low in winter), the barrel creates a whiskey that carries its own unique flavor through more intense and distinctive maturation. At the same time, during this period, the components from the barrel wood provide the whiskey with its smooth and balanced flavor. Each barrel used for the maturation of Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel is new and made from white oak at the distillery's cooperage. The secret of the distinctive maturation of Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel lies in each barrel and the extreme temperature changes it experiences while positioned at the top of the cellar. This is because the whiskey in each barrel is affected differently by these changes. And because the bottling is done from a single barrel - when Jimmy Bedford, the Master Distiller of Jack Daniel’s, tastes and decides - each bottle of Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel carries its own palette of flavor and aroma. A palette that disarms the taste buds thanks to the intense and perfectly harmonized presence of vanilla and caramel, along with gentle notes of maple charcoal and fruits. The distinctive, smooth flavor enclosed in every bottle of the 'selected' deep red Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel must have its own identity. A handwritten label, therefore, denotes the barrel number in which the whiskey matured and the date it was bottled.
