Producer's Description: Varietal Composition: 100% Malagouzia. Location: “Chelones,” at an altitude of 670 meters, with a northwestern orientation, facing Mount Vora. Region: “Ampelia,” Amynteo viticultural zone. Vineyard: Linear single-owned vineyard of 690 acres. Soil: Sandy - sandy-clay, on a calcareous substrate, with excellent drainage. Climate: Semi-continental with significant snowfall and warm, dry summers with cool nights. Common appearance of northwestern winds, absence of spring frost. Cool year with relatively intense dry-thermal conditions during ripening. The continuous sunny days preceding the harvest contributed to excellent sugar ripeness, while the cool nights from the end of August allowed the grapes to retain crisp acidity and a complex aromatic expressiveness. Yield per Acre: 760 kg per acre. Winemaking: Pre-fermentation extraction in a controlled environment, alcoholic fermentation at graduated temperatures, with the wine remaining on its lees for 2 months with periodic stirring. Organoleptic Characteristics: Crystalline and bright with a light yellow hue, with slight greenish reflections. Intense nose, typical of the variety, with aromas of white flowers, citrus fruits, and subtle aromatic herbs. On the palate, it is full with excellent balance – freshness and finesse. Lively and long-lasting finish.
