Gaia Estate was the wine that put Nemea on the map with quality red wines in the market. The first Premium Nemea remains unique and continues to impress with its depth and multifaceted personality. Its recent rating by Mark Squires - Robert Parker's associate for Greece - of 91/100 is described by him as conservative (!). Gold medal and Regional Trophy at the Decanter Competition (June 2015)

- The creation of GAIA ESTATE starts from the way we cultivate our privately owned vineyard in the semi-mountainous Koutsi of Nemea. With the aim of producing a rare wine of profound aging, we guide our vineyard to 'condense' all its essences into a very small number of grapes. The winemaking is done in such a way that the already dense grape can express itself in the wine in the most absolute and complete manner. The very long post-fermentation extraction is the key point of the first phase of winemaking. Then, the young wine matures for at least 12 months in new French oak barrels of 225 liters. The origin of the wood, the degree of toasting, the method of cutting, and other minor details have been carefully examined and selected so that we end up with a wine of particularly complex personality… Subsequently, GAIA ESTATE is bottled without any processing intervening, attempting in this way to preserve, to the maximum extent possible, the organoleptic characteristics of our wine. A distinctive red - violet color is accompanied by aromas of great intensity, purity, and complexity with hints of fruit, wood, vanilla, and clove. Finally, the creaminess, volume, body, structure, and tasting duration complete the flavor canvas of this unusual Nemea… Undoubtedly, this is a wine of very deep aging. We believe that, under good storage conditions at temperatures that will never exceed 12 - 14 °C, GAIA ESTATE will continue to evolve into an even better and more complex form for at least the next decade… Finally, we warmly recommend that you remember to decant your GAIA ESTATE into a broad carafe at least half an hour before enjoying it. The new dimension that will emerge before you will thrill you…!
