A unique beer whose tasting is a real experience. Its characteristics begin with the amber color and continue with the well-formed froth, moving to the complex canvas of aromas from ripe fruits, black fruits, spices, cumin, vanilla, burnt sugar, and finishing with the richness of flavors from citrus, herbs, spices, and caramel. It is creamy and pleasantly bittersweet. Its character is primarily due to aging in wooden barrels.

Its location is at the monastery in the Koningshoeven area, and its history dates back to 1880. Its production is controlled as required by the law for Trappist beers by the monks. La Trappe Quadrupel was released in 1991, White Trappist in 2003, and in 2010, La Trappe Quadrupel aged in barrels was developed. La Trappe Quadrupel is enjoyed at 10-14 degrees.
