A unique beer whose tasting is a true experience. Its attributes start from the amber color and continue with the well-formed head, progressing to the complex canvas of aromas from ripe fruits, dark fruits, spices, cumin, vanilla, burnt sugar, and finishing with the richness of flavors from citrus, herbs, spices, and caramel. It is creamy and pleasantly bittersweet. Its character is mainly due to aging in wooden barrels.

La Trappe Quadrupel belongs to the La Trappe family, and this is a mark of premium quality. It is the only Trappist style beer (besides the 6 in Belgium) that is based in the Netherlands. Its location is at the monastery in the Koningshoeven area, and its history dates back to 1880. Its production is supervised as required by Trappist law by the monks. La Trappe Quadrupel was released in 1991, the White Trappist in 2003, and La Trappe Quadrupel aged in barrels evolved in 2010. La Trappe Quadrupel is best enjoyed at 10-14 degrees.
