In appearance, it is almost deep ruby with garnet highlights. The nose is vibrant with rich fresh red fruit, hints of violet, as well as warmer notes of licorice, vanilla, and tobacco. The palate is refreshing with juicy noble acidity, soft tannins for the variety, and a flavor intensity that faithfully follows the nose.
