Mere et Fils Chardonnay 2024

In 2004, Greek-Australian John Retsas founded the winery family First Drop in the heart of the Barossa Valley. His goal is for every bottle of wine he produces to be absolutely enjoyable, full of energy, and a modern expression of the grape variety and the terroir from which it comes. “Mere et Fils” instead of “Pere et Fils” as seen in Burgundy, but the quality of Chardonnay is consistent. The cool climate and terroir of Adelaide Hills combined with the capable hands of the winemaker transform into a white that elegantly expresses the character of the variety.
