The three single malts from three top distilleries in Speyside are gathered in a small marrying tun and allowed to mature together for three to six months. When the final distillate is deemed ready after tasting by Brian Kinsman, the Monkey Shoulder Malt Master, it is bottled and receives the distinctive triple malt mark with the characteristic 3 monkeys.
