The rosé wine Moschópolis 8 consists of the famous red grape variety from Northern Greece, Xinomavro (70%), as well as the world-renowned variety Syrah (30%). The wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts from the vineyard and matures for 8 months in used French oak barrels with fine lees. It is then bottled unfiltered, preserving all its characteristics.

On the nose, complex sweet aromas of pomegranate and sour cherry, with notes of wild strawberries; as it develops in the glass, hints of toffee and vanilla emerge, a testament to the wine’s maturation for 8 months in oak barrels. On the palate, it is round with a velvety texture, resulting from its time in barrel with the fine lees. The alcohol is in perfect balance with the acidity and body, providing a sense of freshness, while the subtle tannic notes add complexity.
