In 2004, Greek-Australian John Retsas established the winery family First Drop in the heart of the Barossa Valley. His goal is for every wine he bottles to be utterly enjoyable, full of energy, while also being a modern expression of the variety and the terroir from which it originates. His own Barossa Shiraz is generous and crafted to please, without unnecessary weight and rigidity.
