At Zoinos, they create a wine with ‘respect’ for tradition and for the Debina of yesterday, which was an orange wine. Here, however, by combining traditional techniques, where the wine fermented with the skins and indigenous yeasts, with modern winemaking, we have a unique wine that will broaden our taste horizons. A PDO orange wine that is produced with minimal intervention and truly deserves our respect.

Chatzivaryti - Ni

Chloi Chatzivareti, a talented new winemaker, is leaving her mark on the new wines of the eponymous winery, produced with minimal interventions. Ni is one of the three organic wines of ‘natural approach’ from the minimus series. A wonderful blend of Malagouzia and Roditis that ferments with indigenous yeasts in clay amphorae, in contact with the skins, and is bottled without clarification and filtration. An ‘orange’ wine with beautiful ripe fruit and a rich palate.

Clay Orange

An impressive ‘orange’ wine from the Gaia winery, celebrating both the style of orange wines and the magical terroir of Santorini. Made with Assyrtiko from old ungrafted vineyards and aged for 4 years in clay spherical vessels, it is undoubtedly one of the best Greek wines of this style.
