ROKU GIN is made at the specialized distillery "Liquor Atelier", which features four distinct types of stills. The herbs are distilled separately according to their properties, in order to preserve their characteristics and best flavor. On the other hand, the strong flavor from the Japanese fruit YUZU (a rare and very expensive citrus - considered a super fruit - and a favorite ingredient of famous chefs) is achieved by distilling it in copper stills. A total of 14 different herbs are separately distilled, 6 of which are Japanese, and their harvest is done at the peak of their ripeness to maximize their aromas and flavors.

Each bottle of ROKU GIN encapsulates the dreams and perseverance of 100 years. The dream of young Japanese Shinjiro Torii was to create authentic Japanese alcoholic beverages that the whole world could enjoy, based on the uniqueness of the Japanese land and culture. ROKU in Japanese means 6, corresponding to the 6 Japanese herbs used in its creation, which is why the bottle is hexagonal. Its label is printed on washi paper, which is traditional Japanese handmade paper, recognized by UNESCO as ICH (Intangible Cultural Heritage).
