The magnificent Tuscan Sassiccaia is the first wine to have its own designated origin, the DOC Bolgheri Sassicaia. Its name means 'place with many stones'. It is one of the most sought-after Cabernet Sauvignon in the world, enchanting with its structure, elegance, length, and expressive, complex aromas.

Dense black fruits, cedar, nuts, and herbs are just some of its amazing aromas. On the palate, it is tight with very well-structured tannins. The fruit is particularly concentrated and embraced by earthy notes, while the oak elements from aging for 24 months in French oak barrels are very well integrated. A very small percentage of Cabernet Franc is also involved in the blend, which contributes to both the aromatic potential and the finesse that characterizes it. It is a wine with structure that can evolve for many decades.
