It all began in 1366 in a small town in Belgium, Leuven. The 1st brewery was called “Den Hoorn” (the Horn) which as a symbol exists to this day in the logo of Stella Artois.
The final name of the product and the brewery was given in 1717 by Brew Master Sebastian Artois. Who during Christmas in 1926 created Stella Artois as the beer of the holidays.
The name Stella means in Latin "Star." The "Star" of Christmas was so beloved by the public that its production became annual.
Stella Artois is a brand of superior quality and value.
