Rosé wines are usually easy-drinking and elegant, which is why they are often enjoyed on their own, as an aperitif. Cherrygrove is not exactly like that. The uninitiated is pre-empted about the wine's profile by its deep and intense color, and of course by its alcoholic title. However, with the first sip, Cherrygrove wins the impressions. Its full aromatic character and subtle tannins clearly make it a food wine, and indeed quite strong. Cherrygrove wants a rich red sauce, summertime red meats, and is at its best when starring in a lavish barbecue!

Giougkiza 10strm Kokkinitsa: year of planting 1980, clay soil, planting density 335plants\/str, production 1000kilos, altitude 380meters Varko: year of planting 1983, clay soil, planting density 460plants\/str, production 850kilos, altitude 380meters Giougkiza: year of planting 1989, clay-silty soil, planting density 416plants\/strm, production 1200kilos, altitude 380meters Winemaking: Harvest very early in the morning and transport to the winery with refrigerated truck. Grapes remain in the refrigerator for 12 hours, destemming and cold maceration for 14 hours at a temperature of 0 °C. Pressing of pomace up to 1.4bar. Fermentation at controlled temperature.
