A new approach to Retsina for those who love (and miss) the tradition but not only. This is a delicious white wine based on Assyrtiko that after passing a short time in oak barriques, is gifted with a soft touch of aromatic pine resin. The mouthwatering taste accompannies easily very may "mezedes" of the greek cuisine.

If someone would make a revolutionary movement to bring back our near extinction Retsina, that person is Stelios Kechris. Quality winemaker from Thessaloniki made pine wept and brought its beautiful effect in our glasses. If you have not tried the Pine Tear still yet, it's really worth doing it, not (only) to support the "come-back" that Retsina is fighting to make in our wine consciousness, but above all to have a beautiful and unique white wine.

Producer Kechris
Producer's Description A different retinite wine will complement most acclaimed Amber with "The Tear of pine».
For "The Tear of pine 'combined varieties Assyrtiko and Roditis giving richness and refinement to this white retinite. Controlled concentration selected fresh resin, with hints of vanilla and butter to marry harmoniously, and to pave a unique background for the aromatic palette of Assyrtiko, with mastic may appeal to the Greek associatively piney beaches. It has a very rich mouthfeel and a long sweet leaves anamnisi. A unique resin that uses modern technology, yet based and traditional fermentation of the wine in barrels, like the old chronia.
