Impressive, intense wine with freshness, raciness, deep red color, aromas of red ripe fruit and hints of tobacco, tannic throughout his life with these dominant flavors of ripe plum and blackberry, with a strong aftertaste away, demanding a red to match with dishes on ' equally loud.
Images shown above are indicative
Impressive wine from the vineyard to the site Plakoures with very low yield per hectare is the result of an ongoing effort to emphasize the characteristics of the variety, which each year gives a better wine. We believe that the big "Bravo" by Nikos Manesi both the effort and the wine itself says it all.

More Information

Producer Lyrarakis
Producer's Description Varieties: 100% Mantilari.
The vineyard is located in Plakoures is a particularly privileged hillside at an altitude of 500m, with sandy-rocky soil.
The cup-like shape of the vineyard, in conjunction with the North East orientation and sunshine, ensures optimum ripeness of the grapes at the time of trygitou.
Mandilari is a variety that we believe has great potential, having already completed a 5-year experiment in this vineyard. The harvest of 2007 we achieved extremely low yields, thus accomplishing a dense winemaking aromatic wine with a deep ruby color, excellent structure and great potential palaiosis.
The earthy and fleshy character of rich taninnon complimented by the intense flavor of plum and blackberry jam.
