Lively, full-bodied red wine, which marries the supple Agiorgitiko with the spicy Syrah. The result is a fine red wine with beautiful aromatic complexity, strong tannins and a long aftertaste. A label of limited production and availability, for those looking for new flavour extensions in red wine.
The "S" of Gaia may refer to the Syrah that gives the defining touch to the wine, however the blend is dominated by Agiorgitiko of Nemea (70%). A relatively new arrival from the Gaia Estate, with which he launched his most "exclusive" family of wines. "S" is a wine that is talked about and impresses, as long as it is paired correctly at the table. Note: bottled unfiltered, so it's best to decant before serving.
