If in your mind you have connected the concept of complexity only red wines, Nichteri Grande Reserve of Sigala will probably help you change your mind. A style wine steeped in a long tradition of Santorini from overripe grapes and matured in large barrels, made from the 'magic' hand of a great Greek producer.
The color of wine comes from the limits of lemon and begins to flirt with gold, while the dense impression cause tears in the glass that put suspected high levels of alcohol. Initially closed aromatic nose, which with the passage of time (and obviously the time spent in bottle if not rush to consume) will unfold aromas of ripe fruit, but much more sophisticated honeycomb aromas, hints of honey and chamomile tea. The longer you leave it in the glass, the more generous will be fragrant. Dry mouth, but the severity of Assyrtiko that have not passed barrel. Here the prolonged maturation has given volume and full-bodied, with high alcohol is balanced perfectly with the acidity of Assyrtiko. Aftertaste complex and lengthy in duration which gives a sense of sweetness on the finish and leads to a layered flavor development. The wine has a lot to offer in the next decade from the vintage.
