Amber, natural - due to aging - color, with dense, thick and rich tears flowing in the glass. Don't swirl it, take a two-second breath to reveal the complexity of its character. The varietal primary character has given way to aromas of dried fruits such as apricot and plum, plenty of sweet spicy elements reminiscent of vanilla, aromas of nuts and freshly ground coffee. In the mouth the 'corners' have rounded due to the long rest in the barrel with the spirit gaining richness, volume and a soft texture. Its aftertaste is long, shocking in aromas and with enormous development. A unique spirit that can be enjoyed in a grappa glass or even better in a malt whiskey glass.
