Christos Barafakas belongs to the new generation of Nemea wine producers, who by using his privately owned vines, presents us modern wines that leave no one unmoved. Chilia Chronia is a wine full of freshness with delicious aromas of red and black fruits from two varieties, Agiorgitiko and Cabernet Sauvignon, which blend perfectly.
The colour is bright red with enough intensity. On the nose we have a harmonious ensemble where Agiorgitiko imparts aromas of cherry and cinnamon, the Cabernet Sauvignon aromas of black currant, sour cherry and mint, while the maturation in oak barrels gives subtle notes of vanilla and nutmeg. In the mouth it is gentle with very well managed tannins, refreshing acidity and a chocolatey aftertaste that leaves the best impression of the wine.
