Investing in Greek varieties, Akrathos winery brings Agiorgitiko to its privately owned organic vineyards in Halkidiki, at an altitude of 550 meters and specifically in the area where the great philosopher Aristotle was born. With the addition of just 10% Xinomavro is created a very charming red with dense fruit and finesse that you will love from the very first sip.
Its color is deep purple. Its aromatic profile is knitted by abundant dark fruits, reminiscent of cherries and blackberries, cocoa, sweet spices such as nutmeg and beautiful embedded oak elements like vanilla and nuts. Its flavour is rich and balanced with a high level of mature tannins, sharp acidity, with fruit dominating at first and a chocolate feel to come to an end. Give it half an hour to breathe after opening the bottle.
