Markou family, apart from Attica, also owns vineyards in Nemea, where they cultivate by investing in very low per acre yields from which they produce very fine red wines with an emphasis on Agiorgitiko. This wine combines very nicely the freshness and liveliness of the fruit with the elements of oak.
Its colour is medium ruby with purple highlights. Its aromas are very pleasant and dominated by cherries, sour cherries, cloves, vanilla and almond. In the mouth it is gentle, with managed tannins, balanced acidity and a dry aftertaste. Can be enjoyed now but also develop for 3-4 years.
