The globally recognized Chardonnay is the 'strong' basis for this wine. To become more interesting the end result added an aromatic 'touch' (Malagouzia) and more intensity (Assyrtiko). The excellent result 'justifies' the producer chose to give the name of this wine. Random? I do not think ...

Medium lemon color with golden hints at some point of contact with the wine inside the glass. Ripe fruity character, reminiscent of mango and stone fruit, sweet spices like vanilla and white flowers. In the mouth the wine is dry, with volume and some grease. The acidity manages to balance the oiliness of the wine in the mouth, while the intensity of fragrance is high and the finish long and evolving, in flavors of tropical fruit, vanilla and oak.

  Production: 6.500 numbered bottles of vintage 2010
  Varietal composition: Chardonnay 50%-Malagouzia 25% - Assyrtiko 25%
  Vineyards: Linear, privately owned, organically grown by small  yields (700-800 Kgr / ha), and fennel Arnea North  Halkidiki, at the foot of Cholomonta.
  Territory: Clay
  Altitude: From 350 to 650metra
  Harvest: Chardonnay 23/8/2010, 10/9/2010 and Assyrtiko MALAGOUZIA  12/9/2010
  Vinification: For Chardonnay kryoekchylisi skin contact,  controlled fermentation. Apozymosi and short stay (4 months), for  maturation in French and American oak barrels of 225 lit with stirring  lees (batonage). For Assyrtiko and Malagouzia ,  kryoekchylisi skin contact, light pressure, severe settling, fermentation  low temperatures. Maturation on the fine lees (method  sur lies).

  Enologist: Thomas Kontopos.
  Features: Bright greenish yellow color with golden sheens.  Impressive and complex aroma of flowers and fruit with distinctive  aromas of aging. The careful selection of grapes, the varietal composition  and the passage from the oak barrels give exuberant and rich flavor,  with a long, aromatic aftertaste separate.
  Serving Recommendations: Serving temperature 10 the -12 the  C in a tulip-shaped glass of white wine for food.
  tasty combinations: It goes swimmingly fresh seafood dishes,  smoked salmon, grilled oily fish, white meat (poultry and pork)  aromatic with white sauce, grilled vegetables, yellow cheese and charcuterie.
  aging Recommendations: Enjoy fresh in the first year of life  with aging potential of 3 to 5 years. Recommended phial  stored in a shady place in recovery position and at 14 o   - 16 the C.
