The Manousaki winery brings to our glasses an unexpectedly delicious and fresh white organic wine, utilizing a red Cretan variety, Romeiko, and manages to draw our attention to a grape that until now was difficult to come to the fore.
The excellent raw material that comes from old vines at an altitude of 550-600 meters, gives a ‘blanc de Noir’ wine that beautifully combines the fruity characteristics with the oiliness but also the coolness that the high acidity gives it. Its color is lemon with some pink highlights. Its aroma is expressive with white flesh dominating, citrus fruits, herbs and some earthy notes. In the mouth it is juicy, with the fruity elements dominating here as well, leaving a pleasant and long aftertaste.
