Terrasea is the first PDO Santorini wine produced exclusively from Assyrtiko planted in Thirasia island. Behind it are Vangelis Gerovasileiou and Vassilis Tsaktsarlis, who join forces with Ioanna Vamvakouris, having extensive experience in the vinification of Assyrtikos in Santorini. The vineyard, grown organically, is constantly expanding and we expect to see exciting wines as you will find out once you taste Terrasea.
Its color is light golden with green highlights. Its aroma is complex but still tight, with ripe citrus, lemon zest, peach and cloves. Exuberant and robust in the mouth with sharp acidity and saltiness alternating with lemony flavors and minerality. The whole unfolds fully in a long aftertaste. It is a wine that time will make even more complex and exciting.
