The Tentoura drunk everywhere: after a good meal as a digestive liqueur, cafeteria and bar drink like normal, plain, soda or tonic but mainly frozen in small glasses with cream and grated kanella. Comes beautifully with dried fruit, nuts and donuts.
The "Tentoura Castle" is eminently liqueur of Patras. Its origins in the tradition dates back to around the 15th century, the Venetian and the name comes from the Latin tinctura, which means tincture, ekchylisma. The elders called the Patras tentura and "moschovolithra" because it had a strong scent. Flavor, aroma and color of the extracts must contain spices, especially cinnamon, clove and nutmeg, but also Neratze citrus k.l.p.
