|Producer's Description||The "Thalassitis" comes from Assyrtiko, the traditional white variety of wine grapes on Santorini. Perhaps this is the only variety in the Mediterranean area that manages under these climatic conditions combine satisfactory ripeness of the grapes with a relatively high acidity, characteristic especially important for the taste balance of dry white wine.
Assyrtiko we choose the "Thalassitis" comes exclusively from vineyards aftorizous Episkopi, Akrotiri and the Tower. And the average age of these vines is estimated at 70 to 80 years ago.
