Theodora Rouvali, second generation of the Rouvali winery has taken over the reins and creates wonderful wines with a focus on highlighting the terroir of Egialia. Tsigelo is called the highest quality clone of Mavrodafni and here we have an exceptional dry expression of the variety of vineyards at an altitude of 650 meters. The wine that has matured for a few months in handmade clay amphorae, is distinguished for its freshness, the purity of the fruit and the gentle tannins. It is a red wine that can easily accompany fish dishes.
Its color is medium violet. The expressive aromas of red fruits such as cherry and helmet in combination with the notes of laurel, herbs and chocolate create a multidimensional aromatic profile. Its taste is velvety with cool acidity, fruit intensity and lasting aftertaste.
