The Merlot as constant 'companion' to the more rigorous and classy with great aging potential of Cabernet Sauvignon, offered by side, plenty of fruit and soft-directly-accessible character in a wine that has long been a trademark of the Estate.

Route 111 is an old country road that connects Nemea and Aegialia, the regions where the two great red varieties of the Peloponnese, Agiorgitiko and Mavrodaphni, thrive. Here, the varieties create in equal proportions a complex blend of vineyards at high altitudes of these regions, giving a complex wine with fresh fruit and concentrated flavor. It is bottled unfiltered.

Biblia Chora Estate and its creators Vangelis Gerovassiliou and Vassilis Tsaktsarlis decided to 'spread' to southern Greece. Their new acquisition is Kokkalis Skafidia Estate of Ilia, which has produced so far two red wines. In their first white they invest in the most acclaimed white variety of the Greek vineyard, Assyrtiko and in one of the most emerging, Kydonitsa. The result is a very charming wine that deserves our attention!
