Its color is bright lemon. White flesh fruits such as peach, citrus fruits such as bergamot and plant notes reminiscent of green pepper, compose a charming aromatic ensemble. Its taste is refreshing and delicious with a nice fruity finish.

Assyrtiko is very well expressed in the land of Laconia, producing a more extroverted lemonade but also a mildly floral character, while at the same time combining the high acidity and the earthy notes of the variety. Kidonitsa is one of the most up-and-coming Greek varieties with the one from Monemvasia Winery leading the way and showing the way, winning the first rave reviews from reputable wine critics such as Jansis Robinson. With incredibly delicious taste, freshness and duration it is definitely a white that wins the impressions. Its trump card is the very good value for money.
