Malagouzia is very beautifully expressed in the Attic vineyard and this exotic ‘route’ of Strofilia proves it. The excellent raw material from the privately owned vineyards in Anavyssos, the careful vinification and the maturation in acacia barrels that pass a part of the wine, lead to a charming and modern expression of the variety that immediately wins the impressions.

Assyrtiko is very well expressed in the land of Laconia, producing a more extroverted lemonade but also a mildly floral character, while at the same time combining the high acidity and the earthy notes of the variety. When the price of most Assyrtikas has 'escaped', here it seems to be forgotten at low, for variety, levels.

Asyrtiko has overwhelmed the Greek vineyard and it seems to be doing well in most areas! The vineyard of Attica is definitely the case and it is proved by Asyrtiko Vasilis Papayannakos, a wine that 'carries all the attributes of the variety. Vivid acidity, lemon fragrances and mineral elements. With the most affordable Asyrtiko of Santorini costing almost double the price, this wine is excellent value for money.

A Single vineyard Malagouzia from the privately owned vineyard Agios Konstantinos, in Askos at an altitude of 500-550 meters, with incredibly delicious and cool taste but also pleasant aromas of fresh fruits and herbs. It is one of those wines that ends the bottle, without anyone realizing it!

Two local winemakers, Manolis Vavoulas and Nikos Gryllis, put Lipsi on the wine map of Greece when in 2013 they joined forces and created the Lipsi winery with the aim of producing wines that match and highlight their place. Here we have a white wine from three predominantly Aegean varieties, the red Fokiano (followed by white vinification) and the white Assyrtiko and Athiri, which stands out both for its charming fruity profile and its cool and delicious taste.

Very tasty wine with lively acidity and fruity profile, ideal to accompany light meals and snacks. Asproudes is a group of unknown varieties cultivated in the Peloponnese. Monemvasia Winery makes a great effort to identify them and promote them.
