PDO Paros is the only Protected Designation of Origin zone, where red and white grapes can be mixed to produce red wines. The exuberant Mandilaria, grown in the barren vineyards of the island, is blended and tainted by the white Monemvasia, in a very cool and juicy red wine, with velvety tannins and very good value for money.

The Moraitis winery, located in the enchanting Naoussa of Paros, selects grapes from the most mountainous vineyards of the island, older than 80 years, and creates a great red PDO wine with great aging potential. The dynamic and exuberant Red Mandilaria is blended with a percentage of white Monemvasia to soften, resulting in a juicy and complex red Cycladic wine.

Wonderful marriage of Mandilaria with Mavrotragano by the hand of Apostolos Mountrichas who uses fruit from the dry, low yielding vineyards locates at Pyrgos of Santorini. A wine with deep fruit, botanical elements and very well worked tannins that proves that Santorini can give great red wines.
