Pale yellow in color with gray sheens, with an impressive composition apple, pear, citrus and rose clinging perfectly to give a heady whole, full of flavor and perfectly peppery acidity that develops into lemony, refreshing aftertaste, is the perfect aperitif for all hours but ideally combined with many dishes.

Kyr-Yiannis Estate adds to its single vineyard collection, the most recognized "queen" of the Greek vineyard, Malagouzia. The fruit collected from a unique vineyard 8str. at an altitude of 720m. in Amyntaio gives the final shapely but also complex result the graces of the cool climate.

A unique bioclimatic winery, a third-generation producer and a variety beside the classic Savatiano Atticus vineyard seems to have adapted to highly calcareous soils giving wines of exceptional quality. Finos fruity character, flowers and mineral mouth in a super Malagouzia from the winery Papagiannakou featuring amazing value.

Malagousia is now the personification of the way Greek producers are rediscovering their roots. Evangelos Gerovasilliou is credited with its renaissance and the estate’s Malagousia is a benchmark style, round, soft and supple, with ethereal floral and fruity aromas, coupled with oaky undertones. More like a great Condrieu from Northern Rhone.

Its aroma is intense and expressive with bergamot and peach dominating and embracing with notes of herbs, pepper and white flowers. The taste is delicious and fruity, the acidity balanced and the aftertaste spicy.
