    The 'sweetness' of Agiorgitiko highlights characteristic red fruits, such as sour cherry and black cherry in a very ripe version - almost jam. The barrel enhances the complexity, imparting aromas of vanilla and cocoa, while in the background, some hints of milk chocolate, mint and animal notes emerge. In the mouth, the acidity of the wine lends freshness, with the red fruit appearing less ripe and the barrel "dominating" the aftertaste.

    Dimitris Mansolas and Maria Tamiolaki, two excellent winemakers, created Hetero Wines in 2018 with the aim of producing ‘diverse’ wines from various regions of Greece. Here we have a rare combination of two great indigenous varieties, grown in the plain of Domokos and kneaded with native yeasts. The tannic character of Xinomavro is tamed with just 8% Assyrtiko, with the acidity of both varieties being at high levels, while at the same time the wine impresses with the intensity and freshness of the fruit.

    Υπέροχο Ξινόμαυρο από την σειρά ‘Χωρίς Θειώδη Μπουτάρη’ που ακολουθεί την νέα τάση της αγοράς για μονοποικιλιακά κρασιά με ελάχιστες οινολογικές παρεμβάσεις. Το Ξινόμαυρο προέρχεται από αμπελώνα στην περιοχή της Νάουσας με κλίματα ηλικίας μεγαλύτερης των 40 ετών. Το στυλ του κρασιού που εστιάζει στην φρεσκάδα, στο ζωηρό φρούτο και στις μαλακές τανίνες μας επιτρέπει να το απολαύσουμε νεαρό σε αντίθεση με πολλά άλλα κρασιά από Ξινόμαυρο.

    Muchtaro is a rare red variety from the region of Central Greece and owes its existence to the Domaine Muses from Askri Thebes. This is the only Mouchtaro varietal wine in the world, and it is fruity, soft and 'serious' at the same time, proving that the variety has potential and is expected to give much more in the future.

    The color of the wine is bright ruby. The maturation of part of the wine in clay amphorae has highlighted very nicely the intensity of the fruit and the freshness of the wine that has been beautifully embraced by the very discreet elements of the oak from the part of the wine that matured for 12 months in French first use oak barrels. Its aroma betrays the variety, with the dense black fruit, the botany and the pepper, while the tannins, although still quite fresh, are silky. It is a wine that, although it supports the charm in the freshness and the liveliness, has the structure to evolve in the bottle for several years! 2919 meters is the altitude of Mytikas, the highest peak of Olympus.

The young winemaker is constantly experimenting and offers us wines of minimal interventions with a strong personality. Here we have a wine with characteristic freshness and fruit depth of 100% Xinomavro from the vineyard of Filiria in Goumenissa that is organically cultivated, fermented with native yeasts and matures for 4 months in oak barrels. If you want to enter the world of 'natural wines' this is a great start!
