The Gentilini winery introduces us to the rare but dynamic duo of Kefalonia, made from the red Mavrodaphni and the white Vostylidi. Tied from the beginning of vinification and with a 12-month stay in a new American barrique, they offer us the finesse and complexity of the Kefalonian character.

The 'sweetness' of Agiorgitiko highlights characteristic red fruits, such as sour cherry and black cherry in a very ripe version - almost jam. The barrel enhances the complexity, imparting aromas of vanilla and cocoa, while in the background, some hints of milk chocolate, mint and animal notes emerge. In the mouth, the acidity of the wine lends freshness, with the red fruit appearing less ripe and the barrel "dominating" the aftertaste.

Fresh and pleasant, this wine is an easy red for the table, but also for every moment. It is drunk neat, for those who love red wine by the glass, even slightly chilled, on a warm summer evening. It is characterized, among other things, by a very good quality-price ratio.

Mavroudi, one of the oldest Greek varieties is since 1995 a field of study for the Tsantali family which recognizing its potential, revives the grapes in the Maronite vineyard.
