Υπέροχο Ξινόμαυρο από την σειρά ‘Χωρίς Θειώδη Μπουτάρη’ που ακολουθεί την νέα τάση της αγοράς για μονοποικιλιακά κρασιά με ελάχιστες οινολογικές παρεμβάσεις. Το Ξινόμαυρο προέρχεται από αμπελώνα στην περιοχή της Νάουσας με κλίματα ηλικίας μεγαλύτερης των 40 ετών. Το στυλ του κρασιού που εστιάζει στην φρεσκάδα, στο ζωηρό φρούτο και στις μαλακές τανίνες μας επιτρέπει να το απολαύσουμε νεαρό σε αντίθεση με πολλά άλλα κρασιά από Ξινόμαυρο.

The talented Nikos Karatzas, founder of Oenops, tours all over Greece and creates wines from different terroir and varieties. This time it 'stops' in Limniona, one of the most rising Greek varieties and in Thessaly. 80% of the wine fermented and aged in clay amphoras, while the rest in large barrels. The result is an excellent wine with purity of fruit and baccarat, but in limited quantity!

A different and extremely charming expression of Xinomavro where most of it is kneaded with the native yeasts in concrete tanks and the rest in open barrels, while after mixing it matures for several months in amphorae. The grapes come from selected vineyards in the three areas where the variety grows, Naoussa, Amynteo and Rapsani. It is a wine that focuses on the purity of the fruit, the freshness but also the gentle tannins and is bottled unfiltered.

At the Akratos winery in Halkidiki, they pay particular attention to the Greek varieties, so Xinomavro, the largest red variety of Northern Greece, could not be missing from their portfolio. Here we have a very affordable dimension of the variety that focuses on fruit and well-crafted tannins. A juicy Xinomavro that can be enjoyed fresh but also has the potential to get old for many years.

Ο Κωστής Δαλαμάρας ένας από τους χαρισματικότερους οινοποιούς υπογράφει μία υπέροχη Νάουσα που συνδυάζει το παραδοσιακό με το μοντέρνο. Το Οινοποιείο Δαλαμάρα, με ρίζες από το 1840 στη Νάουσα, είναι συνώνυμο του Ξινόμαυρου. Η σύγχρονη προσέγγιση της ποικιλίας βγάζει μπροστά το φρούτο επιτρέποντας στο κρασί να είναι εξαιρετικά 'φιλικό' στους καταναλωτές.

The young winemaker is constantly experimenting and offers us wines of minimal interventions with a strong personality. Here we have a wine with characteristic freshness and fruit depth of 100% Xinomavro from the vineyard of Filiria in Goumenissa that is organically cultivated, fermented with native yeasts and matures for 4 months in oak barrels. If you want to enter the world of 'natural wines' this is a great start!

A very nice combination of Xinomavro with Grenache and Limnio, with fruit that comes from vineyards on Mount Athos. The wine matures for 10 months in oak French barrels 300lt acquiring beautiful oak elements, which in combination with the fruity profile lead to an enjoyable and easy-to-drink red wine.

The Dalamara family has been producing wine in Naoussa since 1840. Since 2000, the helm of the winery has been held by the talented Kostis Dalamaras (6th generation) leading it to the top. This excellent Naoussa from the vineyard 'Paliokalia' that is organically cultivated, kneads with the indigenous yeasts and worthily represents the new generation Xinomavra, which focus on the purity of the fruit, the freshness and the elegance, while at the same time maintaining the ability to age for many years.
