The 'sweetness' of Agiorgitiko highlights characteristic red fruits, such as sour cherry and black cherry in a very ripe version - almost jam. In the mouth, the acidity of the wine lends freshness, with the red fruit appearing less ripe and the barrel "dominating" the aftertaste.
