The Gentilini winery introduces us to the rare but dynamic duo of Kefalonia, made from the red Mavrodaphni and the white Vostylidi. Tied from the beginning of vinification and with a 12-month stay in a new American barrique, they offer us the finesse and complexity of the Kefalonian character.

Mavrokountoura is a rare greek variety of top quality - as described by the president of Masters of Wine of America, Joel Butler, and it was he who urged Apostolos Mountrichas to work with it systematically. The talented winemaker vowed to confirm him and created Plagies Gerakion red. A small percent of Syrah enriches the complexity.
