Dimitris Mansolas and Maria Tamiolaki, two excellent winemakers, created Hetero Wines in 2018 with the aim of producing ‘diverse’ wines from various regions of Greece. Here we have a rare combination of two great indigenous varieties, grown in the plain of Domokos and kneaded with native yeasts. The tannic character of Xinomavro is tamed with just 8% Assyrtiko, with the acidity of both varieties being at high levels, while at the same time the wine impresses with the intensity and freshness of the fruit.

The 'sweetness' of Agiorgitiko highlights characteristic red fruits, such as sour cherry and black cherry in a very ripe version - almost jam. The barrel enhances the complexity, imparting aromas of vanilla and cocoa, while in the background, some hints of milk chocolate, mint and animal notes emerge. In the mouth, the acidity of the wine lends freshness, with the red fruit appearing less ripe and the barrel "dominating" the aftertaste.

A soft, easy-wine, beautifully expresses the varietal characteristics of Syrah. With a deep red color, pleasant floral aromas of the night, very good acidity and a sweet, long aftertaste, will take off the fat and your grilled meat on a spit.

Agiorgitiko and Syrah are 'crossed' in an extroverted, velvety and very good value for money red wine, which comes from vineyards at an altitude of 800 meters in the mountainous Corinthia. Its lively fruity characteristics are very kindly embraced by the elements of oak from the 8-month maturation in oak barrels and a wine arrives in our glasses ready to give us many moments of pleasure.

The Dalamara family has been producing wine in Naoussa since 1840. Since 2000, the helm of the winery has been held by the talented Kostis Dalamaras (6th generation) leading it to the top.
