The large wooden barrels that were traditionally used in Santorini were called Αfoura. This exceptional Santorini expression of Anhydrous, signed by Apostolos Mountrihas, has matured in such barrels. Having acquired a mature and complex character and capturing with great precision the special characteristics of the island, it has already won a place among the great Santorinian Wines.

Nikos Douloufakis, through the white Dafnios, one of the most value for money wines of the Greek vineyard, was the one who proved that the Vidiano variety can age and evolve very nicely over time.
